Ok, it's not a movie, but does anyone watch this TV show? I've been pretty hooked on it this season.
For those of you who don't know, each season is one full day in real time (24 shows, 24 hours) where CIA/KGB type agents attempt to foil a major terrorists plot or plots.
It seems like there is a dramatic cliffhanger at the end of each episode, and the writing/characterization is very well done.

It's funny, I never even noticed the show until this year!
Now I need to catch up with the first three seasons.

it's a very famous serie since the 1st episode.
My fave season is the third one for now.

I remember seeing the commercials about the first episodes of the first season...but after that, seriously, the show did not even exist to me [crazy]
It's sort of like how I shocked to find out that NYPD Blue was still running - I don't remember anyone talking about it in the last like...ten years?
I am probably too distanced from Television to know any of these trendy shows :p

I loved the first two series of '24', but I found it a bit formulaic after that. How many horrendous 24-hour-days can Jack Bauer have?!!
The final episodes of series 2 were absolutely gripping though, some of the best telly for ages.

Having now caught with Season 1 and 2 (and about a quarter through Season 3,) it does seem like the series is going through diminishing returns, but it still pretty entertaining if you suspend belief a little. I think it's a little amusing that in seasons 3 and 4, not as much ado is made of the whole "all these events are happening in a 24 hours!" idea, you just get sort of swept away by all the plot twists and forget about the real time aspect.
Still, this is the only show I really watch on TV at the moment, besides "Arrested Development."

wow, i didnt even know it was still going, i thought it'd die after the first 24 hour day was done. i watched a bit of it during the first season the forgot about it. I liked the detail. It's pretty cool how they let you know whats going on while another thing is going on so you're not all confused and stuff...maybe i'll pick up a season soon. when i'm unpoor enough to
