Edwin Astley

Edwin Astley was a top tv composer of the 1950's / 1960's and composed many well known themes to such classic shows as Robin Hood, Danger Man, The Saint & Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased). He was also the father of my favourite female artist, Virginia Astley.

About twelve years ago the BBC made a documentary entited Astley's Way and its now available on You Tube for anyone interested in learning more about Edwin Astley and his music. As a bonus Virginia also appears 8) along with her brother Jon Astley and Edwin's ex -son-in-law, Pete Townshend....Who? :mrgreen:
