Desire Avenue

I hadn't heard this track yet but just found it online, through the forumthread that was posted.... I thought this track deserved it's own thread. I really love it. The violins have a bit of the atmosphere of the tracks Stina did with Fleshquartet.

That's certainly the best version ( in terms of sound quality) I've heard of the song.

Paul, you should know that this is another track from the Jean-Claude soundtrack-the string arrangement is done by Jonas Nystrom, who I always say is Stina's key collaborator.
And likewise I think Jean-Claude is the best of Stina - it includes Morning Belongs to the Night/Staring Out the World/Failing to Fly/World is saved -and has a completely unified feel.

Anyone want to hazard a guess as to what the sound FX are on 'Give me more?'. Sounds like a cement mixer or crunching gears or somesuch to me.

Although its not, to me the first FX sound's like the rowing of oars followed by the sound of a knitting machine. Problem is the FX could have been speeded up / slowed down or reversed.

Great find, this song should have been released.
