For the first time in ages I went round to www.seekyoudanger.com

it seems to be finally no more....

what a great shame...we had lots of fun there.

Well, the CQD team re-registered the domain name again last February for another year so they seem to want to protect the name even if they don't want the actual site accessible to the public.

Well the real stina site on seekyoudanger.com went defunct in 2004 if I remember it correctly. So this was only a matter of time. I'm really sorry about it. Veronique and Yves have done a great job, that we (at the time) didn't appreciate the way we should have.

I think CQD only lasted just over two years but it certainly made a big impact on the Stina fan community. I suspect that V & Y did get a bit frustrated at times at what they actually knew and what they were permitted to pass on.

...and in those two years there were more posts per 6 months than we've had here in nearly ten years.
That's no reflection on THIS community, of course, but pulling the plug on CQD plus Stina's subsequent inactivity has lost a great deal of the fanbase.

I'm not so sure about that. Over at the Kate Bush forum its been ticking over nicely for many years between albums but as soon as the tour was announced the boards have gone ballistic. It's almost as if fans were just waiting for news of a tour before they were felt the need to post.

I suspect when (or if?) Stina announces a new album then a lot of fans would soon be back posting on here again, even those from the pre-CQD days.

I wonder if stina still wanders this earth. Or is she permanently admitted somewhere? [angel]

We're moving right now, so we're still around [bday]
... and so is Stina! Had her on the phone some weeks ago, she's well

Here's my 3 guesses-

-Working as a pro photographer of rock-climbing
-Part of a clandestine group exploring underground passageways in Stockholm, Copenhagen etc
-Writing a novel

and bringing up her two kids meantime

Blimey. missed out on ur reaction. I know everything here goes on (with your life) in a different pace but nice to know there IS a sign of life!
Next: a new recording? Or a new site? Or at least an update besides (the breaking GOOD news on it's own, don't get me wrong) talking on the phone finding out Stina is well?

If Stina did make a new recording, it should be a cover of Kate Bush's 'How To Be Invisible',........ because she's making a pretty good job of it !!

Mind you, Macca is playing at the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm on July 9th....I wonder if Stina might emerge from her hidey hole to attend?
