I got a TV and a DVD-player!!!

Yes, guys and girls, I owe a TV for about three weeks now 
. After a hiatus of about 13 years, I have to say this makes me feel very childlike. With this I went to the cave and fetch boxes with old videotapes and my video cassette recorder. And oh my god, so many nice movies I still have and all of them are in very good state. So lately I've watched Coen Bros "Barton Fink", Altman "The Player", Van Dormael "Toto The Hero", Wenders "Paris, Texas", Welles "Citizen Kane", Monthy Python "The Meaning of Life", Spike Lee "Do The Right Thing" 
. On my little list, I still have to watch back "Man bites dog", "Down by law", "The Last Temptation", "Brazil", etc, etc, etc. But yesterday, I couldn't hold myself any longer and bought a DVD-player for 49 euro + two movies at a bargain price. I watched the first one yesterday and goodness what a good movie it is, that's "Moulin Rouge" by Baz Luhrmann with Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor. A tragi-comic musical like I couldn't believe it was possible, a musical where all songs were quote from impossibly famous songs from Elton John "Your Song" to U2 "Pride" thru Nirvana "Smells like Teen Spirit" or a very hot and dramatic tango version of The Police "Roxanne". Finally, believe it or not, I had never seen Nicole Kidman playing before and let me tell you that at least for this movie she's the most impressive and brilliant actress I've seen since... can't remember it. Could be I will suffer from some Nicolekidmanite

The other movie I bought is Ang Lee "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon". Can't wait to watch it!
