After the news that seekyoudanger.com would go offline I contacted Ian Grenfell, Stina's manager. I asked him what the plans were for any future internetsite for Stina. Here are two snippets of what he replied:

"for the time being stinanordenstam.com will point to v2's stina page whilst we consider online options.she is not leaving the internet and i hope it doesn't leave her!"

"the v2 page is basic to say the least! let me know when your message board is up and in the meantime i'll discuss the best options with stina......"

So what do we expect from an official Stina Nordenstam website?

this is very interesting, not least because it points to a possible bust up between stina and v?ro about cqd being the reason for its demise.

I hope an official page will keep us informed about the new album recording process - waiting for a new album can be a challenge, so getting bits of information, song titles and more shorten the waiting time.

I hope Stina herself will post from time to time.

Also, a really complete, SN confirmed A-Z list of her releases would be awesome, and I also think it is key that the site includes some multimedia - videos and song clips.

your discography is pretty near complete is it not. you have all sorts of wierd stuff no sane person would have thought existed!

Oh - I guess it's more stuff out there?

It would be nice to finally get Stina to confirm the existence of some releases, especially some early stuff as well as missing pieces.

Wishful thinking perhaps, but maybe the fog (NOT THE MEMBER!!!) is gone now and it's possible to interact a bit more?

I've been thinking of a new website for Stina. Of course I have no clue what Stina herself expects from her official website. These are my ideas about what a Stina Nordenstam website should be:

I think that Stina's website should be the main source of all stina-related news. Therefore the main page should contain all recent news. Except for a newspage I think that the website should have a different approach than the standard music-artist website.

I'd like the idea of the old Nordenstam.com website.
A basic site with nice artwork and more information. Like some button that take you to a random page. Maybe Stina could tell her own story by telling more about songs (what are the lyrics about, when was it recorded etc.), maybe she could give more background information on collaborations (placebo, dive, flesquartet, david sylvian). Stina could do this in her own cryptic way (like the stories about the songs in the booklet of PAS).

Last but not least I would like to have the possibility to ask Stina questions. Then Stina herself could of course decide which questions will be answered and added to her website.

Stina's website should not be that obvious. It should be a bit unlogic. I still the like the fog that surrounds her.

Forgot to mention - perhaps offering special releases, "lost" songs?

Well, I guess for the moment we should be glad that her manager seems to think it is important to have a informative website.

Yes. I like the idea of an new revived version of the "Nordenstam.com" thing. And one which is updated somewhat more frequently, with not just news about the new release of an album or the recording process, but also thought, newssnippetes, poems, or weblog kinda thing, with interesting goodies. Maybe it can combined with broadcasts of audio or/and video. And maybe "The thing about fire"can be aired again

Anyway, this sudden loss of seekyoudanger opens new paths for (a walk on) desireavenue. to fulfill our desires and needs.

Second I do think there's had to be somethnig going on between V. and Stina. I guess we'll never gonna find out. It's a good thing, Paul, you contacted Stina's manager, at least we got some things more clear now.

This one is very old.

It's hosted on the ad infected Lycos too.

Old but at least updated.. the discography mentions TWIS and GOWYL. [crazy]
