I believe that some people here are enjoying Bloem de Ligny's music. I know that Elforel likes the music, and I do too. But it's been a long time since her debut album was released. She's been studying art in London. What she's currently up to is a big mystery. We'll probably never her from her again musically.

I love Bloem de Ligny.

Back in the days (filesharing via Audiogalaxy - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audiogalaxy) I got a lot of rare tracks, remixes, demos and live recordings.

A friend of mine met her 2 years ago in London, and I guess they talk about Bloem being a Bjork rip-off or not. She swears that when she recorded her album, she didn't even know Bjork, but I still think it's quite unbelievable! but, oh yeah, we never know...
she used to have a livejournal but as you can see, it hasn't benn updated in a long time

Well actually, I would like to hear from her again Ikke. I would like to see her grow in music and create a more diverse style. I would like to know how the real Bloem sounds. We all know that Sony Music was very happy to sign a Bj?rk-soundalike and had an influence on the songs which were chosen for the album.

I have seen her perform at Bevrijdingspop in Haarlem once and I just don't like a Bjork-copycat. How could she not have known Bjork... Bjork was very popular in that period. She did even dress up like her. And her name starts with a B too and has the same amount of letters as Bjork's name.
