This is one of about five known Stina concerts. Fasching was a Jazz club in Stockholm. Stina Nordenstam does not tour anymore.

WOW [crazy] THanks Kuhn anf Fuzzpsych for uploading this; especially the never heard before songs are great of course! and it's amazing how good Stina sings Live, it's really too bad she doesn't do that anymore... The jazzy sound is great too, love to hear something like the singing part of 'why don't we..' more often on a future album!

This is really neat. I dunno why I waited so long to download them
I guess I get overwhealmed a lot when it comes to music ... everytime something (like music media) or someone tells me that "oh, you should listen to this" I automatically shut off ... the same thing happens when something like this comes up... I just ignore it for some strange reason.

Anyway ... thanks Kuhn. Say, would anyone possibly be interested in knowing what she says inbetween songs? It was a delightful surprise to learn that Stina has great humour!

Minkowsky made a translation of Stina's words on the (very) old site-I have a copy somewhere.Yeah,she is funny.Pity she can't see her way to performing again-she sounds very much at ease back then.And that band is terrific...
How about somebody having a go at getting the words of the songs 'Miracle' and 'Why don't we..'?? I raised this on CQD,maybe I'll try again! I had a go with the two versions of 'Why don't we..'(the other is on the Skeppsholmen gig,along with another version of 'Miracle',and...'Somewhere over the rainbow'^) if anybody is interested.

Is there a track missing? The files seem to go from 04 to 06.

"Now Mats is going to play the electric guitar again.He thinks that looks cooler.This song is called "Why dont we do it together?".Answer that one if you can.Why dont we do it together?What?Really,what is it that we dont do together?Its about a girl,who once upon a time met a guy.They were pretty young then.They were sitting down at a party,and he said that he was going home,or perhaps she said that,anyway,the other one said "but I'm going too,why can't we go together?.Then there is a solo in the song,and then its like ten years after,ten years later.At that time ,unfortunately,they've got a rather dull life together.But it might not always end up that way.What do you think.Why dont we do it together?".

It works fine on my computer, but there may have been problems when you tried to download.

Thanks a lot for the translation! Stina is a very funny lady indeed.

Stina seemed to be at ease while she was on the stage. The chatting to the public, I guess you won't do that when you're nervous or don't feel happy while being on stage.

I can't find the original of this, but try wget. wget -c after it fails. Search for it, it's available for most platforms.

Blinkin' awesome (the translation) thanks more than you'll ever know. I actually got a cd of the fasching show sent to me in exchange for something, i forget what. I won't even let it leave the house.

If anyone has any other concert let me know, and i guess everyone;) I guess all of us Stina lovers are constantly looking for more stina. I only bought the rest of the stina cds i was missing (dynamite, and she.., this is...(2nd time)) very recently. Thank goodness for the internet.
