Ghost in the Shell: Innocence

Highly recommended. Can't recommend it enough. enough eye-candy to last for repeated viewings, but can be annoying. Must watch Ghost in the Shell One, for it to make any sense. Extraordinary amount of detail.

I saw the first one again last night. One of my friends doesn't like it, but I don't know why. Definitely good eye candy, and a moderately intelligent story.

I've watched the trailer for the first one in the dvd of the second, and i must say if you like the first, you will love the second
it brought back some memories...
all i didn't like were the Major's huge boobs. Did they have to be so big, did she have to get naked all the time? It was just gratitous nudity....it didn't help that i watched it with a friend in a theatre full of old men and famous for airing sex shows.... [:xx]

Oh yes, I think she has to be naked for the invisibility to work. So her body can become invisible, but not her clothes.

like i said, it's just gratitious..Neo didn't have to be naked to see through the matrix code or to zip through it. the director's a male trying to cater to the largely male cyberpunk anime target audience.. anyway, nobody wants to see the rest of Neo. btw, the Matrix was allegedly inspired by anime like Ghost in the Shell, which was quite influential in its day...witness the green code and the pseudo philosophical yearnings..

Apart from the boobs, did you notice that that girl always manages to tear her arms off?
But this one song is so great, it creates a very special atmosphere

well, did anyone watch The Neon Genesis Evangelion(新世紀エヴァンゲリオン) or Eureka Seven(交響詩編エウレカセブン)？ better answers are hidden in these animes.

Yes. I've got the DVD right here . Only problem is, it doesn't work in my computer

I loved Ghost in the shell! I found a box of dvd and I thought they were extra movies, I received it for xmas, but I found out it['s the cartoon serie out of the original idea. A bit disappointed at first, now I think it's just another side of it. Will slow watch all episodes.
