NON-ALCOHOLIC + and -
+ Swedish tap-water. You guys won't believe how incredible it is. They even put extra minerals and vitamins in it.
+ Mineral water. I'm addicted to the stuff. I love my fizzy. Non-flavoured please! lthough a little hint of lemon can be nice. It's very good for my stomach too, I wouldn't live happily without it.
+ Rooibos tea. Not really tea but an African counterpart. Doesn't contain caffeine, tannine or teaine which screw with your central nervous system and digestive tract. Contains a lot of minerals and tastes heavenly... especially the spicy blends with cinnamon and cardamom. Can you tell I'm a tea-fanatic?
+ Fruit juice. Freshly made. Especially passionfruit or papaya. I miss living in the caribbean - there was fruit wherever you turned your head. I miss having breakfast on fresh papaya every morning.

+ Yogi tea - classic cinnamon spice blend. From the flowering foot of the himalayas comes the god's gift to tastebuds and shattered nerves everywhere. It's not really tea but more of an infusion of herbs and spices. It's a better pick me up in the morning than coffee. Put extra ginger in it and you'll never have a flu again.
- Coke and other sodas. I do enjoy them on occasion (like mixed with heavier stuff) but they screw with my oh so delicate tummy. Too much sugar too.
- Black coffee ? la Scandinavian. Coffee was never meant to be drunk this black. Urgh. You can see like oily caffeine spots floating on the surface. [:xx] Coffee is good with lots of milk and a little bit of sugar... that's how I've had it since I was 5. It can also be good black.. but like an expresso, not a fucking mug-full.
ALCOHOLIC + and -
+ Red Martini vermouth. So spicy and tasty and sweet. It's best cold and straight up.
+ Dubonnet red wine. The easiest wine to drink in the whole world. I love the cat on the label.
+ Any Oporto. It's Oporto, nuff said.
+ Fidel Castro's. The best fucking drink in the whole world. Dark rhum (Bacardi, Havana Club or Negrita is to be preffered), ginger ale and lime juice. Saludos camaradas!!!
+ Gl?gg. Scandinavian mulled wine with almonds and raisins. A holiday favourite.
+ Cava. Props to Spain for the best fizzy. Cord?n Negro is better than any champagne in my opinion.
+ Beer. Lighter ones on a hot summer's day, Corona is my favourite. Heavier ones in the bitter wintertime.
- "Teenage drinks" with Vodka or Gin. You know the kind. Find any liquid and pour your parent's booze into it. Not a good idea. I've completely lost my taste in screwdrivers.
- Whiskey. I simply can't understand the fascination with whiskey. Maybe I lack some special tastebuds or something.
- Cognac. It's like perfume - smells great, burns your tongue and throat to ingestion hell if you drink it.
There's more but these are the absolute favourites I come to think of right now.
Edit: OMG I almost forgot:
+ KIR! Cr?me de Cassis + wine. Regular kir is with white wine. If you use red wine it's called a "Communist" instead. My absolute favourite is Kir Royale with champagne.
Edit #2 Going back and reading your posts... I feel like such an alcoholic now. I feel I just want to say that I absolutely hate getting drunk and being around drunken people. I've gotten really drunk maybe 2 or 3 times in my life. Grah! Hated it! My use of alcoholic beverages is stricly limited to the enjoyment of their magnificent taste. When you start getting drunk you don't really care what you're drinking and that takes away the whole point. I was raised in a house where a nice glass of wine or beer always was the perfect complement to dinner... no more, no less.
