I've finally gotten a special version on dvd that contains two discs in a nice dvd box whoohoo They were only selling the movie as a very cheap -movie only with no extra's- before here in the Netherlands and since last year there's a special version out, but it was quite expensive and i think it also only had dutch subtitles (soo stupid) whenever english friends wanna see they wouldn't understand...
so now i got a special edition UK version from ebay for a very good price and i'm so very happy with it i can watch this movie every week; it's as good as Stina's music

I totally love that movie too. It so hopelessly romantic.

you can watch this film when you are hopeful or hopeless, when you are happy or when you're sad. it's bitter and sweet like stina nordenstam...

like it eternally. it makes me smile when i feel sad. it's very pure and visually stunning.
I saw that special edition some years ago in London (it has a black cover, hasn't it?) I now regret i new bought it back then..

Mine comes in a green cardboard box which holds the actual dvd box, which can be folded open and contains the two discs. The box has a big picture of Amelie on it.

One of the best movies ever. Anyone ever heard the soundtrak? It's almost all instrumental, but it's still great. I love french music. It's like every song puts a new scene and happy feeling in your mind.

I love the part when she puts her hand into the beans, i don't know why...
and the videos with the man with stick legs dancing, the gospel lady jammin' on the guitar and the horse in the bike race.

Freakin' Audrey's cute as hell in every movie she plays. He loves me he loves me not is great cus she's psychotic, not just cute.

They have the 2 discs here in USA, maybe it's the same as the dutch subtitled one...i hope. Cus that'd be a new excuse to learn antoher language.
