What's the closest you've got to Stina,by some connection or other? (or any other celeb,c'mon let's have some spicy anecdotes...)

Me:- I made a recording in about 1999 with recording engineer Jacqui Turner from Realworld.Jacqui was kooky, with multicoloured hair and some highly original clothes.Plus she was experimenting with a microphone new to Realworld,in the shape of a human head.Its ears are the microphones-weird but true.
Jacqui used to call the head 'Blake' all the time.
A couple of years later I bought 'This is SN' and eventually saw that producer Tchad Blake was assisted by ...Jacqui Blake.
There's not many women in the production world (alas).I put two and two together,did a bit of Googling and discovered that Ms Jacqui Turner had become Mrs Jacqui Blake.And had moved on to bigger things....
And now I knew why she called the mic 'Blake'!

Also 'TWIS' was mixed at Realworld-which is 5 minutes from where I live.If only I'd known Stina was there....

Real World must have been a bit behind Dave,as I'm sure I was reading articles on this "human head" experimentation with binaural / 3D sound recording 20 years ago,especially when holophonic recording became fashionable......for a time.

I think the nearest I've been to Stina is that i've walked in Parliament Square too.

.....oh,and I have a copy of the CQD book,signed by Stina .....and most likely even handled by Stina.

Now that is close.
