Computer Games

Not sure if this belongs in this section, but i thought it'd be nice to know if you play any and what you like to play; i'll add a poll to see what format you like.
I like playing PC games every now and then and mostly play adventure like games; there has to be stuff to explore and an interesting story; but i also like a good action game or a building/strategy game like Stronghold
My favourite games are Thief (dark project), Gabriel Knight (adventures), Diablo and Morrowind (Elder Scrolls)

I have a xbox and a ps2 at home but I don't play much; I like fighting games and so the PS2 is for that kind of games. MY xbox is more an alternative computer to play divx movies and listen to music.

My two lads have an xbox and a ps2 on which i've played Pandemonium 1 & 2 (wonderful psychedelic fun) but never got into much else .
But as for playing music on the xbox...i find the machine is very loud and ruins the listening pleasure of quieter,softer music. But it is the only device that will play a couple of burnt cd's i have.

Don't play games much,and certainly don't let my son have an xbox or whatever.The games I do play are on the net mainly-espec.Shockplay.com and my favourite game,Maelstrom.

normally i like playing old games too, there's enough good games to keep you playing
plus new games are too expensive; but currently i am playing Oblivion; that's a really cool rpg game with absurd good graphics; allthough i can't play in fulll detail on my computer it's still awesome to look at...

Last thing I played was Tsito on my iBook but ... oops ... that's not an option.
I did play with my phone when I was laid up last year.

I am horribly addicted to Dragon Quest VIII: Journey Of The Cursed King, having just clocked in 102 hours on it.
I don't believe in X-box, it is evil and clunky looking!
No wonder it takes me ages to get anything done at all....

I've never played a computer game in my life. Unless you count Spider Solitaire on the laptop when I'm supposed to be writing essays.

I have a SNES that I play sometimes, but I need to get a new video/audio cord - mine's about dead by now.
Normally though I use the PC, mainly for older games. As old as text-based, even.

YES! another fighting game fan! What is your favorite series?
I have a PS2 and a SNES and my favorite series are Street Fighter, Virtua Fighter, Mortal Kombat, King of Fighters, Yoshi's Island, Tekken, and Soul Calibur.
