The "You didn't do that bad" machine

Phew....
I turned 27 last friday and I am having one of these life crisis whuch occur regularly every...errr...seven days. And then last seven days.
Wouldn't that be wonderful if there was a machine totally objective in which would be entered everything your life was made of and that could then tell you what you are worth?
Like:
-err...Yes, you ARE just a lazy scumbag. You ARE worthless. Go kill yourself!
Or something like:
-Oh, considering
/the youth /the upbringing/the social background/the hairy math teacher/ the health/the mental disorders/ You had,
you didn't do that bad!!!!
Life is so cool but will we ever wake up?

Don't worry-some of us are much further down the road than you,and it doesn't get any better or worse,just different shades of pain and pleasure and more reasons to think 'why didn't I' and 'if only' and so on

second : these past few days I was mostly in the Go kill yourself! mode/mood, for so many reasons that were obviously not worth, thinking more than 2 seconds about life, etc... Sometimes you get so deeply in your little egocentric problems that you can't even look the world outside and say : "yeah, I'm living, it's so great"...

Bon anniversaire Elfy!
I'm living such an awful period that I surely did that bad. I hope to see soon the light of this endless tunnel. The only positive thing is that I'm finally losing my Christmas kilos, 'cause I'm never hungry.

that's the line my friends all comfort eachother with.
i think most people need to think that way, it'd save them alot of self esteem! My parents never seem to understand this when it comes to me, though. Which is why i have no relationship with them....sheesh. Can someone give me a towel? i'm naked over here.
