OK a new silly thread idea-stupid celeb eBay connections!
I do lots of wheeling and dealing on eBay,supplementing my meagre muso's income with a few meagre sales.
Not long back I sold something to Steve Davis,(the snooker one)-it was a music mag which had a little piece about 70's psychedelic/megalomaniac Goth-rockers Magma,who,as you might know,Mr Davis is a litle partial to (he apparently underwrote a one-off English show by them a few years back.He was probably the only member of the audience ).
Anyway I digress....
I'm now selling stuff for friends who find eBay too complex or inconvenient,and today I sold something to someone (who is coming to collect it ) with a familiar-sounding name.After scratching my head for a while,I remembered...he's part of Portishead ! So I shall be meeting him shortly.
Can anyone top that??

Do you reckon you could get something for a Korg X5D?

Do a search on eBay, Graham,I bet there's some going.
Not being a gearhead,I'm not sure what an X5D is,presume some kind of synth.
I've found people will pay loads for old analogue synths (I chucked or gave all mine away in the late 80s just before they became the thing to have ).
