Any other fan of the HBO serie? I got the first serie on DVD, can't wait for the second one to cross the ocean...

Saw a few episodes but I'm not a huge fan.
I do like other HBO-series like Six Feet Under. I absolutely adore Sex and the City, but I guess that should be discussed in a whole other topic.

I like the other series you quote too, but they're much more down to earth, about real life. What I appreciate so much in Carnivale is that you know every so little about all the characters and it really is a matter of believing, or not, in magic and let yourself flow with it ...

Someone at work offered to lend me series 1 of this, they'd brought it in for another staff member and I was having a look at the blurb on the case. Looks interesting. Might borrow it when the other girl's finished with it.
