I use Maps, on the web... all the time. I love it!

My ancient computer won't run Earth..

i'm using it; it's fun! only too bad that norway isn't so sharp and high res. Hope they'll improve that

and yea, i love maps; but i still like paper ones more, since you don't have the borders of the map screen where you have to scroll first to see beyond; i like to see in one sight where i'm going. that's why i don't like these navigation computers in cars as well, cause you can't navigate on the map really; you'd have to zoom out, zoom in, scroll. it's helpful for some people though, like my dad

In fact I just added a google map where members can locate their place.
It's nice to see where people live on a map !

Funnily enough, we had broadband installed yesterday, and so my parents were playing with Google Earth. I'd never acutally seen it before and *cough* I don't actually know where you get it from. Anyway, Keynsham and Nantong aren't very clear but Nanjing is.

I haven't used Google Maps before. I tried it once when it was fairly new and couldn't get anything outside of America. Then another time on dialup and it was really slow. I used to use multimap.com way back, and since then it's been something I've never got around to looking at. Anyway, I'm playing with the Google one now and it looks pretty cool so thanks for mentioning that! Just search for Nunney Close Keynsham and you'll get my parents' street (where I'll be for a few more days this year). You can see the playing fields that my bedroom overlooks.

First : it's a beta software so it may not work all the time.
The subSilver skin works fine with it, I modified the black one so I hope now it will work fine too.

So how to use it ?
-Go to http://friends59.free.fr/stinaboard/gp.php
-Locate your city using the left items
-once you found your place click Edit in the Mode section (upper right)
-put you name = nickname
-click on the street at the left and if you did it wrong click on the right street
-Edit the InfoWindow : put some text there if you wish
-Click Add

That's all !

It's no more invisible

Stina lives in the sea...and Vero has just logged in,she appears to be on an airport somewhere near HongKong (couldn't get the map to load up).

when map cannot load up, just click on the sattellite view and it will work

Yeah I get the satellite ok,but no map of there.
Is it a Safari/Mac thing?
