Very sad.....shocked even.....to learn today of the tragic death of Croc hunter & tv personality,Steve Irwin.

How ironic though that after all those near misses with crocs and snakes etc that he should finally be caught out by......... a fish.

Wasn't it a ray? Big buggers.

I was also quite shocked, but 2 seconds later I realised that I've been predicting it for years in my out-loud conversations with the television. The man took too many risks. Still, he seemed like a happy person, who loved what he did. RIP.

at least he died doing what he liked most, but of course it's sad for his wife and kid; someone to be missed...
