iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster, ... are now a good legal way to buy songs.
So do you use this system?

None of the mentioned stores are possible to use in my country.

But I would never pay something like $1+ for the limited and restricted use of one song.

i use iTunes when there's just one song i want from an artist. that's about it.

I rather have a real album with full artwork in my hands.

I'd -indeed- rather have the complete single -with artwork- in my hands.

with downloading songs in mp3 you basically get 10% of the original size .wav file, so if prices for a song were like that i would consider buying instead of downloading free and waiting forever for a specific song to find... So yea, it would be helpful, cause it's easier and you can get to know a lot of songs before buying an actual cd, but then in the end i'd rather have the cd with the booklet and hopefully some extras....

Like Doc I buy from iTunes if it's a one-off.
For example,there's a couple of boxed sets by the likes of Miles Davis which I lacked two or three tracks of-no way am I going to buy the whole shooting match for two tracks.Never find them on Napster or whatever (jazz?? huh)

Something else i forgot.As part of my self-employed WORK i transcribe songs by all sorts of people for use with schools and Special Schools,and things to arrange for my singing groups and so on.In those cases i always pay,on principle.
As a pro musician myself I can get pissed off with the paucity of moolah getting back to the artists-not the big names so much as the little guys and gals,the session musicians,the arrangers etc.
It's high time some bright sparks came up with a solution to art and money.
