i get so bored of listening to Stina these days.
i knew that it would take place one day.

I seldom listen to Stina these days so I manage to avoid getting bored by her music.

But its the same with anything.....be it reading a book, watching a film, playing a record etc etc......do it often enough and it will become boring.

Repetition is boring.

try not listening to her for awhile and then listen to her again, you will be surprised and notice things you maybe hadn't before; always works for me; I don't think there would ever be anything better for me though, cause it has been a pleasure to listen to for so many years now. It's part of my life somehow, but i don't listen to a whole album every day..

Yes I have splurges every now and then.I try and deny myself the pleasure.
RobB is absolutely right-(except that in certain cases repetition can become incredibly interesting-eg Steve Reich or La MonteYoung or the Necks).A few years ago (pre-Stina) I couldn't listen to ANY piece of music more than once in a month.
Yes,Lori,maybe go back to listening to Einsturzende for a few weeks,(the most powertool-esque bits),and then put Common Miracle on after two months denial,and it will sound like angels in the trees.
Inbetween Stina indulgences I listen to Xenakis/Feldman/The Necks,stuff like that.Mix it up!

I don't listen to Stina much these days too. I just rediscoverd my old Bj?rk records and am listening a lot to P.J. Harvey, Underworld and Radiohead.
