Not official ( I don't think) but a cool way of hearing on You Tube what is one of my most favourite tracks i've heard by anyone for many a year.

First heard at the end of the Hard Candy film and its been lodged in my
brain ever since.

I just read a post on the Blonde Redhead board (http://www.blonde-redhead.com/yabbse/) that said they discovered BR from that movie. Great song for a great movie, indeed.

Curiously the poster who mentioned the Hard Candy connection was a Rob ........... but not this one!

I bought their last album , Misery Is A Butterfly, a couple of years ago, really really liked it a lot too. the song Pink Love is my favourite off that particular record...Kazu from the group has done some vocal work with TV on the Radio's last record...

I forgot how i heard about them but i downloaded In Particular and En Particulier and it's my most played song on iTunes

I should get something else by them soon...probably the album Melody of Certain Damaged Lemons.

I actually picked up that album by chance at a used CD store and bought it because I thought I'd heard the name of the band. Little did I know it'd go this far... They're by far one of my top 5 bands/artists. I think right below Stina.

really interesting music; and even more is the cooperation with David Sylvian on the song "Messenger"; available on EP apparently (so not on the album version?); hmm, i hope to hear more of that soon!

i like it alot! not as catchy as In Particular though

the 23 promo song sounds more 'pop' than 'misery' which has a fine touch of 'tristesse' throughout the album, much like Nine Horses . (maybe because it reflects the accident with the horse?) The new album '23' will be released on april 23 in Europe.

I, personally, refuse to ruin the surprise of the new album. This time I'd like to hear it all at once instead of tease myself. I can't freakin' wiat tho...When is the release date?

I have 4 of their albums I like them all, but Misery is a Butterfly is my favourite, its very cinematic in feel. I love the vocals especially, both male and female voices seem to merge into one on MIAB, I am definately looking forward to the new album.

are there male vocals on all of the albums?

Yeah, Misery has a very almost theatrical sound, as if you could write a play to it. I love it. The only other album I've found like that is Cursive's The Ugly Organ. It actually has acts written to it, but I don't have the album, therefore the book. I just burned a friend's copy onto my computer. I want it though.

The new album is very good, especially the title track
