I bought this album years ago and lost it during a move, I found it on Monday and have had it on loads!!!!!! I'd forgotten just how much I loved this album, Feetless United had me leaping around the kitchen like a nutcase

Have you noticed the bizarre 'phonetic' lyrics in the booklet?!?

Did the Phoning single ever get issued too? I never managed to find Naturally on CD single which was most annoying.....

she also recently released the album Syngur, an album covers by the prominent Icelandic musician Megas. It's VERY tame compared to An Album, but it's pretty, and some of the tracks are really beautiful. I've that too if you need it

i never heard anything about a Phoning single, that would have been nice. My personal favorite from the album is Operation. <3

her performance at Haetta was really good according to the clip on their website(which apparently has been removed). it's a really big shame it wasn't recorded fully. she's playing at the concert for eating disorders with Björk and some other icelandic bands in iceland soon, so if we're lucky it'll get recorded and posted on the Björk hub!

I remember seeing it advertised on her website many many years ago but it never actually got released I don't think. I often wondered what happened to her. Her album had some great producers on it, LHOOQ and Graham Massey from 808State (Don Solaris is one of my favourite albums).

I remember the old One Little Indian page as well, and it did mention a Phoning single.

I have never seen or heard more about it. Such a waste...

Since An Album she's put out a collaborative CD with Hringir, containing a Beatles cover and other stuff.

One Little Indian are particularly bad with singles not getting a release but then showing up as being released and available from the One Little Indian online shop. Kelli Ali's singles from her first album I never managed to find anywhere that stocked them, yet according to the website were issued. The same with singles from Sandy Dillon and Black Box Recorder. Most annoying.....

I always thought Phoning would have sounded amazing remixed too....

What is her new stuff like?

There are som clips up on the link I posted, as well as the first mp3.

Obviously it's doesn't sound as "great" as the Massey productions, but the voice is the same .

It's an Icelandic language album, so I probably won't bother picking it up.

Phoning is amazing, and I guess OLI messed it up.

If they are anything like the Tigermouth album tracks then they should be good!!

i actually downloaded Psychic Cat and Tigermouth last year (i no longer have them), i actually liked Psychic Cat better. Hot Lips was a pretty good song for being made up of only one chorus

I like Tigermouth for it's sheer pop sensibilities and I love Psychic Cat for it's electro rock (especially Home Honey, I'm High). Tear Drop Hittin' The Ground was my summer song of 2003

Have you heard Payback Time she did with The Dysfunctionals, it was used on a Levis Advert I think, it's rather cool....
