Anyone remember this late 90's Irish group? I came across their CD the other day and it's a rather vicious but compelling CD, particularly Shea, Wish You Were Dead and Howling Boy. Sort of like The Cranberries partying with Metallica and PJ Harvey

I totally agree about the PJ vocal style

I really like them, it's a shame they never amounted to anything. They had a lot of problems with 4ad and had to fight to get the 2nd album released, which ultimately resulted in the group splitting up. I love the song Say What You Came To Say, it's so beautifully fragile, and Shea is just a damn good blast!!!!

Did you ever manage to get the Demon EP? I got Schism EP, Shea, Wish You Were Dead and First Contact but never found Demon, which was most annoying!!!!! I always wondered what the other tracks on that EP were like. The Hanging On The Telephone cover is superb, as is the limited edition version of First Contact (the only single to surface from the much delayed And Finally album).
