I was watching the first part of this movie (30min) that was put online and it was really making me SICK! To have this situation in the 'richest' country in the world is unbelievable, but true. You have no security in life there.
I wish the democrats would have changed this, but i guess it'll take a lot of work and time. Better move to Canada if you live there.

American capitalism sucks

well, can't wait to see the whole movie and I hope many else do! This is killing more Americans than terrorists and the war and terror does.

The Oz health system is going the same way as America, if you have to travel by Ambulance here, it'll cost you $750. Medication is through the roof, completely profit orientated forcing you to shop around chemists to get it cheaper. If you have the misfortune of being in hospital longer than 3 weeks, you get charged by the day for the bed. There is a 6-9 month waiting list to have a colonoscopy or endoscopy through the public system, so you're screwed if you've anything serious and cannot afford private health care. Doctors charge consult fees dependent on length of consultation unless you are lucky enough to find a doctor near to you that uses Medicare (and that's a rarity here). Plus once a year at tax return time, you get charged a massive medicare levy of around $800-$1000. And don't get me started on the costs of dentistry.

You don't half miss the NHS until you're actually out of the country!!! I'd never ever criticise it again!

I hope the film comes out in Australia, though judging by how John 'Kiss-ass' Howard smooches to G W Bush, I reckon it could be another import the DVD job.....

the movie is getting a lot of publicity lately with copies that had to be kept in Canada, because of the Cuba embargo (Moore taking patients there). And the movie got leaked on the internet.

I hope this publicity will get people's attention.

To me, some parts of the medical industry is just like Mafia, when you look at the amounts they charge for treatments and medicin.

Good movie as usual, but the part about french health system is not totally true as it's not as perfect as depicted in the movie.
As usual, USA is only about money, and even in a very poor country like Cuba the health system is millions times better.

The good question is: does the european politic will lead us to the same system in the future ?
