I know others on the board like her. She's one of my new favs... Ys and her new EP have taken over my cd player for the past two months.

I can't get past the voice. Ever since my husband pointed out the similarity of it to 70s sock-puppet Lambchop, I just find myself giggling when I try to listen to her.

I can't stomach too much of Joanna myself, but listening to a track like 'sprout and the bean' is quite nice every now and then

That youtube clip is actually a quite astonishing performance, I can appreciate how amazing she is despite not warming to the voice. She's clearly extremely gifted.

I probably mentioned this on the other thread, but Joanna is a elfish genius, everything she touches turns to gold (musically speaking).

I looooove Joanna!! All of her songs are brilliant.

I thought the Ys Street Band EP was lame though.
