Wonderful news from the Uk and that is we're going to keep our imperial mesaures so its still 3 MILES that I have to walk into town and I'm still 6 FEET tall.
Thats a relief.
So,once again its a big
to Europe.

Bugger, I'm still 5ft 2, then.
1.6 metres makes me sound much taller.

In case anyone is wondering what those terms are,Dave is quoting measurements used in:
Coins,horse racing,fishing,more fishing and budgie rearing.

2 swings=1 mirror
3 mirrors=1 bell
4 bells=1 cuttlefish
2 cuttlefishes=1 perch
5 perches=a lot of shit

Not really, when there's 60 million of us.
Anyway, I'm sure the seas must have fallen dramatically recently because somehow we've formed a direct land connection to Poland. Everybody here is Polish now, even our road signs are starting to be written in Polish.
