Oh I'm surprised Cancer isn't occupied, Rob, given how important family and roots are to you. Also your tendency to not give away a lot about yourself is quite Cancerian.
Jupiter and Neptune are what's called 'generational planets', meaning that everyone born within a certain period of months/years has them in the same sign. They're less relevant to personal characteristics, astrologers use them mainly to delineate the character of a particular generation - what it contributed to culture, how it affected history and so on.

Well I was quite deeply into it when I was younger, I actually wanted to study it 'officially' with the FAS but I couldn't afford the two-year course. I learned a bit off my own bat, enough to be able to grasp the basics, anyway.

If you were born between noon and 2pm, then your ascendant may not be off by too much. What is it, according to the programme? Usually you can tell if it's completely wrong - the ascendant is the face you present to the world, as it were, the characteristics people tend to see in you in a first-impression kind of way. I mean if yours has come out as something like Capricorn it would obviously be way wrong.

I always felt a bit confused being a Capricorn (for my sun sign) until I found out I had a Pisces moon. They being two extreme signs (Cap often being described as super serious and cold, while Pisces being heavily emotional) sort of helped me realize who I was a little better.
