The next single (hopefully there is to be one)...

In my humble opinion, the next single has to be From Cayman Island With Love. And if they're to stick with the lousy 2 track format, backed with Give Me More (Of Everything).

An amazing spring or summer single!

And please do release a maxi also containing And The Winner Is and the GOWYL video!

I think Cayman Islands is too good of a song ... and it's MIIIINE!!!
I don't want it to be a single ... I don't wanna share ...

Seriously, I don't think there will be a single. Stina Nordenstam is not the kind of artist you promote with single releases for that long ... I mean it works I guess to gather som interest for a forthcoming album. But knowing the record industry I doubt there will be a single.

But one can hope ... and if there is one I'm hoping for Butterfly.

(PS ... Am I the only one who thinks in music video format ... I have finished music videos in my head for almost every song I listen to ... is that weird?)

daniel: you're not the only one. i think floria sigismondi would make a great video of 'butterfly'. :)
'the morning belongs to the night' would be the most beautiful thing ever i bet, mysterious imagery of streets deserted in the twilight of small hours... maybe not exactly a 'funky, groovy' song, but it gives me the goosebumps. why don't we get any proper b-sides? it's not like there are no outtakes... i for one adore the jean claude soundtrack. it would have made a nice ep, without the film sounds and the later overdubs. i'd buy it just to hear 'ice water' uncut and without noises, although it's just a short piece of music... :)
oh well, whenever stina decides to release a box set with her b-sides and film music, it's gonna kick ass.

"Butterfly" would be a good single although i still think that minute long instrumental section needs editing and tightening up.

"FCIWL"......i just wonder if the sound of the crashing waves that run through out the length of the album version,might prove an obstacle for radio play?

I seem to remember reading a long time ago how radio programmers shy away from songs that feature sound effects.

I don't personally see why but apparently they do.

I would vote for either Cayman Islands or Butterfly since it are the two songs that can draw the mos attention from the general public and get average radio stations to play it. I would look forward to an interesting remix of Butterfly; it would be nice to see how someone would do that
