Incidentally, something I've been meaning to ask for ages and keep forgetting - do all the Tori fans here have the new and remixed tracks from A Piano? I know some of you didn't buy it due to the cost.

I don't have it. But.... I also don't have ADP. I'm still having the leaked songs burned on a disc somewhere. I never listen to it.

I'm really surprised that tracks like 'Dragon', 'Beauty of Speed' and 'Girl Disappearing' didn't make any impression on you Paul, they're so beautiful. I thought you'd love them.

I bought ADP of course, but it just sits on the shelf because I prefer listening to the leaked tracks - they were recorded from the vinyl album and I found, when I got the cd and ripped it to my laptop, I really missed the odd 'pops' and scratches from the leaked tracks. So I just reinstated them and deleted the cd ones.

I did too certainly since I had no problem liking TBK in the end. But I haven't given the album a lot of spins so that might explain things. I'm listening a lot to that other redheaded lady.

I heard Talula's original mix for the first time yesterday!! Very very lovely, although i do prefer the Tornado mix.

The original Talula is more harpsichordy and delicate than the remix, I miss the 'say goodbye to the old world' stanza in the latter. I do love the remix as well but I just wish Tori hadn't allowed the record company to replace the original with the remix on all subsequent pressings of Boys For Pele, because it means that unless your orginal pressing from '96 is still working (mine isn't), you can't hear the original. That's unfair on people who prefer the original.

Just been catching up on the Tori goss, apparently she's done some interview where she's hinted that this current tour is going to be her last on this scale - which personally I think is good news and totally understandable, she can't continue to put her body through that as she gets older. It does sound as if there's a change of tack coming up after this tour is over, with the musical and so on. Maybe ADP will turn out to be her last album on a major?
