I'm sorry for upsetting you,though you were on the right lines with Godard,who with Truffaut and Eric Rohmer edited Cahiers du Cinema,the Frenah new wave publication from '57-'63.So yes the film is "Le rayon vert" -directed by Eric Rohmer,an almost forgotten director who has made many quiet,thoughtful films,and still is ,in his eighties.
Anyhow heres a more well kmowm film still-
