Ok ok ok, i know, we all hate it when someone is compared to Stina.
It's not very kind to anyone to be deemed as 'similar to'.
But...
ok, let's not say it and put it another way: I really love that girl (too)!
Great voice (that i am sure Stina fans will love) and very sweet and touching music, grab it while it's hot since apparently her first album is not even out yet!
And yet, my heart is awaiting already with warm pounding.

I liked 'Daisy' and Erin does have a rather fetching Stina-ish vocal but Erin just sounds a bit too contrived and lacking in emotion to my ears.
With Stina I believe in what she says because she comes across as being sincere but Erin (and many others of her ilk) just doesn't quite grab me emotionally in the same way as Stina does.
Maybe Stina is a better actress?

Nice find though Elfie and when Erin's album is out,I might pick up a copy if its going cheap.

Considering Stina is one of the best writers in music, I don't think it's a very fair comparison.

Although, i'm listening to Daisy and this is definitely not my cup of tea anyway. I don't think she means to sound contrived but I can surely see where you're coming from.

If we're talking Stina-comparisons, I definitely prefer Billie Lindahl's barren atmospheric sound to this twee sort of Mazzy Star guitar pop.

Well, Aermancer, today doesn't seem to be a day where we'll share tastes!
I really don't think Erin Lang seems as cottonly aneasthesic as Mazzy Star does. To me it sounds fresh.
Although i didn't say she was sheer genious blowing your heart in 1001 pieces shattered all over the universe.
But i like the songs i heard.
Really like it!

PS: I also wanted to promote another band but now i'm afraid, is that the right day?
