Scandinavian exhibit

On February 2009, some people and I will organize an exhibition about Scandinavia in a very important museum.

So any idea is welcome

We have a low budget for now; but we'll try to find some sponsors to make a better event.

for now, we planned :
a photo gallery
a banquet with typical scandinavian food (and why not surstromming )
a costume gallery, but no idea where to find patterns to create them ?
music performance, I guess we cannot afford Stina unluckily We need to find bands !

As for the bands: follow itsatrap.com for that. Perhaps you can persuade an up and coming scandinavian band to play in the museum when their accidently touring around france and germany at the same time.

Are you doing anything with Scandinavian literature? There are some significant novelists coming from Denmark, Sweden, Iceland and Norway.

As for Denmark and bands, I can only advice you to have a listen to Jomi Massage, Under Byen & Efterklang.
