Normally I don't bother too much about various artist compilations which feature Stina's music but this one is more of interest as it features three of her songs

'PREMATURE - eastwestULATION' ( EastWest Records America PRCD 5875-2) was a promo album released in the USA in 1994 by Stina's record company East West records.

The album featured 4 of their artists,Sick Of It All, The Dambuilders, Candy Machine & Stina Nordenstam.

Interesting how now the US were using Stina's surname after having released 'Memories Of A Color' as Stina.

Each artist was represented by three tracks, with Stina's tracks being 'Little Star', 'Viewed From The Spire' and 'I See You Again'.

Released to coincide with the then forthcoming 'ASCHE' album,the promo text inside reads:

*Stina Nordenstam - "And She Closed Her Eyes"
"And when she sings, hardened Arctic fishermen break down and weep."

What a bloody awful album title,got to be one of the worst ever.

I'm trying to think of some suitably punning Stina title/line to justify the (unintentionally hilarious) Arctic fishermen weeping bit. Something like 'listen now just take me to the sea',only funnier. Help me out folks!

I can only think of 'Fishing-boats go by' (Fireworks) which was probably what inspired the reviewer in the first 'plaice' !!!
