"The album is a double-CD - a Swedish-language disc that has the title of the dark flower and an English-language which, consequently, called The Dark Flower. For the Swedish disc Stina Nordenstam, Peter LeMarc, Anna Ternheim and Tomas Andersson Wij special written songs. Freddie does the Swedish interpretations of two of its 70-century favorites - Faust-song Jennifer and David Lynch & Peter Iver In Heaven (Lady In The Radiator Song) from Eraser Head-movie. He is also a version of Imperiet-single Cafe Cosmopolite.

The Dark Flower is more loosely assembled, here is Freddie himself written most of the songs, on some occasions, the music and text improviserats up in the studio and in various hotel rooms, such as in the 24 minutes long Kira-Kira-A Collection of Sketches and improvisations. A musical collage composed of small pieces taken from the more improvised, jam songs. Freddies very own version of the Beatles Abbey Road medley. As a thread throughout the entire album takes different vocal guests up - Anna Ternheim, Magnus Carlson from Weeping Willows, AK von Malmborg, Elle Kari Larsson from The Tiny, the new single Annabel Lee involved SCYTHE as a guest."

Hmm,according to Rob's link,they're tracks 3 and 10...
Downloading now.I like to have hard copies too,but,much as I like Freddie Wadling's honest vocal approach, a double album of Swedish songs is beyond my budget.

Well,both songs have an atmosphere; 'Har' is the more interesting of the two,on a single acquaintance.There are female vocal spots on both numbers,neither of which is Stina,unless her voice has changed dramatically.
I spent a while trying to locate lyrics for them on the web,by way of making a translation,but drew a blank....

I've just checked out Freddie's website and Kuhn's info matches the info I found there so it would seem that Stina, as credited, simply wrote the two songs. The guest vocalist on 'Har Slutar kartan' is AK von Malmborg whereas no female vocalist is credited on 'Allt Har.....' although apparently a female is singing.

Just been trying to translate into English the titles of Stina's two songs, which appear to be:

'Everything Has Been Long Enough Now' ( 'Allt Har Varit Mojligt Lange Nog Nu' )

&

'Has Steers Map' ( 'Har Stutar Kartan' )

Found some reviews (in Swedish),and got Google to provide some of its grotesque translations:-

'Another question is singers who show up here and there. Finance votes (Anna Ternheim, Elle Kari Larsson, mow, AK von Malmborg), but they rarely adds an extra dimension. Anna Ternheims ballad "You and I" is in itself a duet, and as such sore.
AK von Malm's song in the middle of "Here ends the map," written by Stina Nordenstam, creates the most unnecessary musical sense. But it is a good song. The same can be said of Nordenstams other contribution "Everything has been possible until now", a suggestive night radio blues around the late hour concerns.'

Those titles read a bit better than the translations you found,RobB.

Interestingly,in another review,Freddie is interviewed-
'He also notes that he is a bad negotiator. The dark flower (the dark flowers) is the end plate (last disc?), he makes (for) the record company Emi after a few chaotic years.
- It is a compromise. I wanted to do an English album, but the record company thought I would continue in the same track as the last one. Why it came to be called The dark flower, I know not really. We had agreed on 'Here ends the map', but they changed the title without notifying me. I am always the person who finds out things last.'

Another review has this:-
'Best is Stina Nordenstam song that may (makes?) Wadling to be so incredibly careful with his voice as he is when he sounds best,'

And another review has this:-
'(Stina's) Here ends the map, with a somewhat dated Tom Waits events, and everything has been long enough, the best texts, written by two chapters.'

If the word Har appears in both Swedish titles,how come none of the translated words appear twice in English?
