I've just added to my ever expanding Stina collection yet another Independiente promo for their one and only Stina album.

This new version is basically identical to Kuhn's 'This Is Stina Nordenstam' cd-r promo (see illustration on page 1) only this version has the date added. No doubt Kuhn's undated version comes chronologically between 'Welcome To Happiness' (01.05.2001) and my latest addition as seen below:



At least we can now see that between 1st May 2001 & 3rd July 2001, Independiente and Stina finally settled on the final title and tracklisting / sequencing.

Nevertheless, it was still to be another four months before the album was finally released.

Incidentally,the music/mixes on these promos are identical to the commercially released versions, apart from in one instance. 'Trainsurfing' has a slightly truncated introduction with four seconds of missing 'beats' on all the promos I have,apart from the final promo (with the artwork in place) which is identical to the commercial version.

As far as I remember one of my promos has parts of the Trainsurfing outro or intro (can`t remember which) attached to another song.

It might be an indexing problem but I don't think on my promos the missing four seconds of the 'Trainsurfing' intro is attached the outro of the previous song,which changes from promo to promo anyway.

On the copy with the handwritten scribblings (photo 3), So Lee ends with 4 seconds of Trainsurfing. This could perhaps be a mastering mistake/problem?

Just rechecked my copy and yes,you're right,the first 4 seconds is on the end of 'So Lee'.
I suspect it is just a mastering error as opposed to an identification error as its pretty obvious to which tune those beats belong to.
