Different make of guitar but.....?

Hmm. It could be, but again, the hair is different and the face shape seems different too. This is the likeliest one so far, though.

On a side note, who knew Susanna Hoffs was still playing?!

Another suggestion has been made.........Natalie Merchant.

Unfortunately i can't find a 'live performance' image of Natalie at the right angle nor can i even find a photo of Natalie playing a guitar in concert.

I dunno .... Natalie doesn't seem quite right, but as you say it's hard to make a proper comparison unless you're seeing the face at a similar angle.

Stina, can you just put us out of our misery and TELL us whether it's you?

I've never seen Natalie play the guitar in her concerts. She is mostly playing piano. I just checked the linernotes of the albums (I'm a fan of Natalie) and she is never credited for playing guitar.

I would be very surprised if it would be Natalie on the photograph.

* her nose is too big
* her jaw is too square
* she's playing a red electric guitar onstage while wearing a big crinolene gypsy dress for feck's sake

You call that a big nose? Blimey. It's cute as a button, a characteristic it shares with Stina's.

Stina does have a rather square jaw, going by the pics I've seen of her, anyway.

We know! It doesn't fit with what we think we know of her. But none of us actually know her, or much about her, so we can't say definitely that she's never played electric guitar on a stage whilst wearing a gypsy dress.


PS I don't think they make crinolene anymore, it'll be some sort of viscose mix.

I don't think its one of the Corrs sisters as none appear to play the guitar:

Oh, I was pretty much convinced there it was Andrea Corr - apart from the hair/face shape similarities, she seems to have a penchant for sleeveless tops with lace-up bodices, which I think is what the woman in the picture is wearing, paired with a gypsy skirt.

Well, I give up then. We'll likely never know who it is, unless the bootleg from the Seekrit Stina Unofficial Private Gig (SSHHH!!) eventually surfaces.
