I just watched it, and I found it both beautiful and boring. I didn't get the "narration", especially when he goes to her mother's house, I felt that sequence would have been in a better place at the end of the movie
Altough the music is mesmerizing, it's a little too much present, and sometimes silence would have been better.
But there were things I liked a lot: the violence of this world is quite well depicted (it was to me, at least), and many others things that my english skills couldn't explain

Interesting,La Mome.I didn't find the music to be in the way.Actually having lived that music and known it very intimately for-3 years?-now,and finally seeing the images it was intended for was very powerful for me,and many new resonances came up with those songs in that context.
I just wish I could follow the language better.

No problem with the language here.

But I don't remember the thing very well. I do a translation to whoever sends me a copy [:o]

When I first watched it ,I tried understanding the speech with my very rudimentary French,but soon gave up and concentrated on the music,which is far more interesting than anything JC has to say.
Next viewing I just listened to the music and watched the wonderful visuals.Paris is such a photogenic city.

On subsequent viewings I find the words overshadow the music and I just wish He'd shut up. [:xx] [:o]
But,anything with Stinas music is crucial, and I'm so thankful to have it,(cHEERS k).

Now if only Stina would release the dvd of all her videos,then I'd be in seventh heaven. [angel] [angel] [angel] [angel] [angel] [angel] [angel]
