Dynamite VHS - photos

So I am back home and decided to dig out my Stina box from the basement.

The Dynamite tape was a promo item. This version include a Dynamite style artwork. There is another promo with two different versions of the Dynamite video (edit and director`s cut) - does anyone have it?.

I don`t own a VCR so can`t tell if the video is similar to the version now found on youtube

Is there no where local where you can have vhs tapes transferred to dvd-r ?

I know you can actually buy combi units that will do this although its not very cost effective unless you have lots of vhe videos that need converting.

Not very likely there is anything like that in this area.

A VHS to PC converter cost about 60 pounds.

i have this same VHS minus the artwork,
i also have the EPK vhs of ASCHE.
I transferred both to DVD at my school.
VERY nice transfer if anyone wants a copy let me know
and we can work out logistics...

I believe Stina has only made just the one video ( 'Get On With Your Life') since those 'This Is' videos and as far as I know it s never been issued on any kind of 'various artist' compilation dvd or promo' dvd-r.

I agree Caleb,those 'This Is' dvds are amazing. A month or so ago I actually emailed Independiente on the subject of Stina and suggested making those videos/films commercially available on dvd,as part of a re-issue package to incorporate the 'This Is Stina Nordenstam' cd,featuring the 'Walking Too Fast' & 'The Thing About Fire' unreleased tracks.

Needless to say I never receievd a reply.

Ironically,all those videos are now freely available to view on youtube and very popular they are proving to be as well. They are certainly not doing Stina's popularity any harm. Not that Independiente. who paid for them all, are benefitting of course. They removed the 'This Is' album from their catalogue a couple of years or so ago.

Which does make me wonder if there was some contractual agreement which meant the rights to the album were transferred to Stina after a certain period of time? Like five years for example?

so what actually happened after this? The rather -not so very 2014 like- MTV rendition of Dynamite is getting kinda awful. Not to speak still no word on 'This Time, John'..

Again, I found the VHS eventually on eBay. It had a Buy-It-Now of £25.00 so I grabbed it, having never seen another copy (except in Kuhn's pics above).
Yep, it's way better without all the MTV shit all over it - and so is This Time, John.
