Well I'm sure Dominic would happily pose for you or anyone else Coral, I however am a different story - I loathe having my photo taken to the extent that, as far as I know, I've managed to completely avoid it since New Year 1988! That was the last time anyone managed to sneak a picture of me, and only because I was falling-down-drunk at the time, otherwise I'd have beaten them senseless before feeding them their camera film. I only possess two photos of myself - one taken when I was 16 with my new baby daughter (I did post that one on my CQD-125 journal ages ago, but I don't think anyone saw it), and the other when I was about 19. Neither is very interesting, I'm not worth looking at.

i think pictures of other peoples nice. especially older adults..wrinkles are so much more interesting than smooth skin..just like geography of a person's life..

The bf is currently carrying the photo of me at 19 around in his wallet, depends if I can nick it back off him.
I'm so dreading having to have the wedding photos done - I feel queasy just thinking about it, having someone point a camera at me feels like being attacked. I keep saying to Dominic and my daughter Kate, look, do we HAVE to have photos? Can't you people just REMEMBER it?!!!

that's not the way to go, hon! wedding photos are what makes the wedding last for anniversaries and babies and grandchildren! or if you really want, you can torture yourself by going for a makeover [:o]
Yes, I know we need to have them done and I will grit my teeth and suffer it because I love Dom and I know it's important to him, but honestly Coral, if it was just myself I had to consider I really wouldn't have them at all. Probably sounds very strange to most people - nearly everyone I know seems to love being photographed, the minute anyone gets a camera out they're preening and mugging away like mad, while I run out of the room. I just can't describe how sick it makes me feel to have a camera pointed at me, I remember it so vividly from when I was growing up - those family occasions when there was no getting out of it, at least until I was old enough to rebel and say 'no!'.
I really think I'm going to have get drunk or take a tranquiliser or something before the wedding.
I'm terrified that a little humour-devil is going to get into me during the ceremony and make me say 'um, actually, I don't' at the vital moment, just to see the look on everyone's faces. [help]
