It was one year ago today........by the date anyway,.....it was actually 52 weeks ago yesterday being a Saturday,......that the first Desire Avenue meet-up took place in London. Here's a little reminder of how we all looked when we were ....one year younger.

You should guess but there's enough clues in this thread already i think.

Yeah, we all got on famously and had a great day. We met at the Montague Pyke in Charring Cross Road where we had lunch. Then we checked out a couple of bookshops,walked down to Parliament Square via Trafalgar Square and Whitehall. Then we looked for somewhere to have a drink and another meal and ended up walking over Westminter Bridge and along the South Bank but everywhere was packed. In the end we walked back across the river and ended up in a small room on the top floor of The Globe pub in Bow Street which turned out to be an ideal venue.

And yeah, we did get along quite well! We didn't even speak about Stina all the time!

... and now its 9 years ago today...well, not today exactly but the other day, last Wednesday the 10th to be exact. I think that was the day we were having a kind of 'How much longer is Stina going to keep us waiting for a new album ?' type conversation. Good job we didn't know then what we know now.
