Now playing Zhou Xian's Greatest Hits

A type of big band and popular hits singer, Zhou Xian, Shanghainese, from 1930's. I love the tinny sparrow voice and big band background. Some of the songs are semi-chinese folk. This album happened to be lying around in my mum's cupboard.

Yeah, I like her attitude. I didn't like the previous album that she released but I'll be checking out her latest. I'm quite curious.

Definitely going to check out the Kelly thingie when it's out!

I've just bought the the solo thing of Roisin Murphy (Ruby Blue) from Moloko. It's good! Quite original. I only heard snippets so now I'm going to listen to it more careful.

Last week i saw Marilyn Manson live and their special guest were Queen Adreena. I had already an album of them: Taxidermy (I think their first) and forgot actually about them, until the concert. So while buying Ruby Blue i also picked up their nw album: The butcher and the butterfly. It's quite alright!

Now playing: Yes Sir - Goldfrapp. Love it.

Marilyn Manson is not my kind of thing. A bit too wannabe creepy.As voor Roisin: I've heard some tracks and I'm curious.

I went to pick up Kelly Osbourne's album today, but went home emtyhanded. That album isn't much special.

Hm. well i like his music (otherwise i wouldnt attend the concert), definitely not his looks. although he really can look over the edge in his video's. so i like that aspect.
Damn.. so it's a one hit thingie again? It sounded almost unbelievable to be true Kelly would make a GOOD album..

It's a BLATANT ripoff of Visage's Fade to Grey ... that's why it's good. I kinda like it too ... even though Kelly's voice is autotuned to death.

I just loved Rialto's debut album with the single "Monday Morning 5:19", I just discovered that the lead singer of Rialto released a solo record last year. Can't wait to lay my hands on that!

I'm rediscovering the older albums I have. Currently listening to Blue Lines by Massive Attack, the first Unbelievable Truth album and a lot of Prince records.

yeah, the first Unbelievable truth, a great album of pop songs !

is anyone interested in Bob Mould here ? he's currently touring in Europe now and has just released a new album called Body of song.
I'm also listening to 'Alligator', the latest the National album I enjoy a lot and also lots of electronica CDs from raster-noton thanx to a friend that lend me his cd collection while he's away.

I was introduced to [P] thru Dummy, but after hearing their first one, i fell totally in love. I hardly ever listen to Dummy anymore.

are you sure...? Yeah you're right. I keep forgetting. I think it's because I'm used to alot of bands starting out with self titled cd first.
