Football Focus Stina

Stina's music will be (briefly) featured in tomorrows edition of BBC1's Football Focus programme ( 12.10 - 1.00pm Saturday 10th September).

Thanks to Stephen,the BBC Man on the inside,for the tip-off.

I'm afraid that I,along with all right-thinking English gentlemen,will be watching the other channel for the cricket. [:o]

but i'll go and watch it! it's greenwich time in Rob's post btw, so it'll be 13:10 here..

It might well be 13.10 on the continent but we're still BST here in the UK so the times mentioned are one hour ahead of GMT.

Over footage of Englands defeat by Northern Ireland,two snippets from "125" were played....the opening lines of "We shut down the experiment,it has long gone out of hand" and the guitar riff.

Oh, I just noticed this. My Dad's a Soccer AM type, and I was thinking about how unlikely it would be for them to play Stina. Little did I know that it was looming on the other channel.

Wouldn't it have been lunch at that time?

It's so great that a Stina fan is working on that show. All the footballminded males have heard a lot of snippets of her music through the year. I wonder if the televisionshow ever gets questions from viewers about which music was used in the episodes.
