Help. Where should I move?
It's all good. i don't think education will be an issue by the time i go to sweden anyway. And until i eperience elsewhere, the US has one of the worst primary education( on it's level). If you only knew the problems around here. You'd think for all the taxes we pay, the kids would be taken care of. Over crowding, unorganized, and unruly kids out the wazoo. Older people have told me they're afraid if they walk on the street and pass by kids. of course, I'm closer to NYC and the stinkin' city people are moving up here(another reason to move).
What about jobs? I mean anything from waitressing to cutting down trees to working on a horse farm. Anyone know any foreigners of sweden that have jobs there perchance? I'll be checking it out, but maybe if i get lazy someone can suggest something

I've decided on Sweden. It's close to everything I want to be close to (esp compared to where i am now) and beautiful etc. Long road ahead of me though...

If you are crazy about horses and very knowledgeable, you should be able to find a job in the branch. Horse riding is very popular in Sweden. Big bucks involved too.ruth1998 wrote:

You may find advice on http://www.amerikanska.com. Waitressing sounds a bit scary to me, but I know nowt about it. Cutting down trees. They have really amazing machines, terminator-like stuff. Winter time, they do need hands on, to fix power lines.
