this release it literary a result of her collaboration with Anton Fier going into nothing.
Stina bough the material, had it mixed and released it herself.
These tracks were the first sample of her new, more 'mechanical' sound.
"The Photographer`s Wife" claims to be a Swedish (?) independent movie, but looks as it never was made.

There has been rumored to be a single called "I Could Still Be An Actor" released by Anton Fier,
but nothing points to this being anything but a rumor, especially since Stina did bought the rights to the tracks.

Recorded at Greenpoint Studio, Brooklyn, New York, September 1995.
Produced by Stina Nordenstam and Anton Fier. Track 1 remixed by Microman.
Tracks 2 and 3 remixed by Descendence. Anton Fier :drums, programming;
Knox Chandler : guitars; Bill Laswell : bass.

Yes it is very much about which one is a current favourite.Indeed,I'd venture that each album is so whole unto itself that when listening to one,the others don't really compare...

i remember searching everywhere for the movie(the photographer's wife - awesome title i think) and the album when i first heard it existed. But once i couldn't find *one* lead, i gave up. I have all those songs, but to find the actual record...anyone here have it?

TPW appears on ebay occasionally,its where i got my copyand usually not too expensive.
