Thanks this was nice to see...in my view, one of her better videos.

But why does Kate look like a biker chick in this video? Those close ups are bit strange ha.

Is that an Elvis jump suit dancing round....probably explains the biker chick look.Shes getting a bit old for that now ,aint she ...looks like she should be fronting Fleetwood Mac.
But then i'm biased...I never could stand her banshee wailing .

It an excellent album which i've been playing quite a bit this last week.

I certainly prefer the jazzy/new agey "Sky Of Honey" album.......almost Pink Floyd meets Joni Mitchell via Jane Siberry at times........Kate's singing with a Blackbird is simply amazing.
....and its nice to hear Rolf Harris back on form.

"Sea Of Honey" is growing on me......"Mrs.Bartolozzi" & "A Coral Room" are classy piano ballads,the former sounding like it belongs on the "Cathy Demo's".
"Pi" is my favourite track with its hypnotic pulsing organ runs.......and the catchy "How To Be Invisible",rumoured to be the next single.

I ABSOLUTY am in love with a sky of honey. again uhm goose.. well you know. the whole cd is like a trip or something. and indeed, kinda strange Kate imitating a blackbird, but it DOES work so well.
see of honey i have to get used to. it's more complex and the tracks are more individual songs.

But I love it. Worth the money and much much more.

and i heard king of the mountain at HMV the other day.
have to say it appreciates on the ears..and i never heard
kate in HMV before...it's either aerial or the cardigan's
new album (or is it worth it)

a coral room (never thought i'll see my name on a KB album,
means alot to me haha)! guess it sounds better than the
red room, blah blah blah.

kate's new album doesn't impress me like stina's
new album but i'm hoping it'll grow.

Just listening to that now. Beautiful song, indeed. And with Eberhard Weber and his 5-string electric vertical bass. For thos of who who do not know Weber, you should check his "Yellow Fields" and "Silent Feet".

Ms Barto..that washing machine song

as usual i cringe abit at crucial moments in the song..the piercing refrain is too cute and cringeworthy!

but sharp emotion did shine through..and i'm amazed, i've got a tear in my eye..just when kate thought she saw someone out of the corner of her eye but it's just a shirt on the washing line....that's just so direct..

when kate's not busy being artsy fartsy she's a sharp ear for lyrics and tune
i just wish she uses it more instead of covering it up by whooping like a bird and things...and being so self-conscious about it..
