I've been waiting for that! I've only seen a sorta fairy tale and some other boring one. The clips on vh1 looked good. I can't wait to get it!

contractual problems with atlantic (sounds stupid, but that's it... they were the last videos she did with them)

there's a promo DVD with SLG, which i will buy it (if i find it

)

anyway, a fan made a tori DVD collection with all her videos, including remixes videos and her first one "the big picture" from y kant tori read

I'm pleased for the fans who've been eagerly awaiting an official DVD compilation, but personally I'm not that bothered. I've only seen a handful of the promos and they didn't strike me as anything special, plus Tori isn't the most natural actress.

I'm more interested to see if the remixed albums appear via Rhino Records as promised, and what extras they contain.

So, 'Fade To Red' has been out for a couple of months now - anyone got it yet? Is it worth the dosh? I was quite surprised when I browsed MTF today to find the fan reaction is quite positive (makes a change for that lot). I'm tempted to get it, but I might wait till Amazon reduces the price. I'd only really be getting it for Tori's commentary, which I hear is quite funny in parts.

Why not get one on eBay? Probably loads of new ones at cheap prices.

Mm that's a point, wonder if my ebay account is still active? It's been about three hundred years since I used it.

I didn't know about her being on the radio, I've been offline so not able to access any of the fanboards till today.

She is a HUGE fan of Led Zep, she's talked about them since the beginning of her career. She had a massive crush on Robert Plant when she was little. Apparently when she recorded the duet on 'Down By The Seaside' with him, he asked her to marry him. She replied 'where were you when I was eight?"

Some of my women friends have just done a belly-dancing workshop with Robert Plant's daughter...she's GORGEOUS!

In the early days of her career Tori recorded the most gorgeous solo-piano version of Led Zep's 'Thank You'. Well worth downloading if you haven't heard it, or I could do you another MD compilation? I can't remember if I sent you any of her amazing cover versions, she's done loads.

Her version of Joni's Case Of You is rather lovely as is her take on Only Women Bleed.

Must say I really did enjoy her Fade To Red DVD compilation, the commentary is superb.

and really, if you look past the 6 short tracks there are some of the best songs she has ever done. (Where Is The Line?, Who Is It, Oceania, Pleasure, Triumph...I can't say i enjoy Desired Constellation, but it's .. nice)

For any Tori fans who are also into her friend Neil Gaiman, it looks a real possibility that Tori is currently working on the score for the movie of his book 'Stardust', which is in production right now and stars Michelle Pfieffer and Sienna Miller amongst others. Tori was asked about it in a recent interview and said she couldn't comment because she's 'under lock and key', which suggests there's something going on.

I'm not too familiar with Neil's books, not my kind of thing really so I could be completely wrong, but is 'Stardust' the one where he bases the character of a talking tree on the redhead? Seems to be some speculation on the fan boards that she might play the part in the film, as well as writing the music.

Anyway, could be some new Tori sounds soon.

Check out the film Mirrormask for an example of what Neil Gaiman's work is like. It's a rather magical piece of cinema in my opinion...

I'd imagine that tori could have a field day scoring a film of one of his books.
