Oh Daniel, that is a sad bird story. But you're right - nature doesn't understant the concept of sad... sad but true. Thanks for sharing the photos.

My bfriend and I were walking home from dinner a few weeks ago and we saw a small bird that must have fallen out of its nest. It was frantically hopping all over the place. I wanted to help but didn't know how so we left it alone. I hope the little guy figured out how to use his wings!

Sunday walk in Uelsen (germany); the weather was nice and the area (old glacier morene hills) was beautiful. I love the geology of the landscape, there's real history right under your feet. Even saw a stone that the ice carried here all the way from scandinavia .[l)] We didn't see anyone on our walk, except for cows enjoying the sun...

Hahahaha! You guys!

I've had the Dracula forehead since I was little so... no receiding hairline there.

I guess that the picture doesn't really show that it more going upwards that backwards

And I cut it like this only so that I could grow it out in the front... to have it over my forehead... without the sides and the back getting long as well... I have very thick hair so they usually always cut it in like... layers to thin it out a bit.

I've been thinking of dyeing it! Buy deep, raven blacker-than-black, black is my natural haircolour so I don't have many options... I've been thinking of black/blue... hmmm.

Last sunday (oct. 30th) i went for a walk in Halsteren, in the south of the Netherlands, It's the north side of a sand ridge called 'De Zoom' and stretches from Belgium into the Netherlands and has steep sides along the seacoast and the lower 'polders'. The height differences are up to 20m which is quite a difference in the Netherlands

this is on the north east side looking over the lower polders, where the farmers evened out their land..

The weather was amazing for the end of october, as it got up to 21C which was a record high.

There was a bird in my house this week! he was sitting quietly looking at me; i was only able to make some blurry pictures, but this ones pretty good:

i opened a window for him and he flew out back to his freedom
