Anyone see the new movie? I'm a big fan of them, since like 6th grade. My favorite is A Close Shave. I do want to see the new one, but I think I'll wait til video.

Anyone else seen the new Wallace and Gromit?
I took my son along to the premiere-Aardman's workshop is local to us-and some of the animators were there talking about how they did it.
2 seconds of footage a day was a good day

The puppets-eg Gromit- are about as big as a pepper pot;yeah,really small!
The film is ....cracking! and very English,I'm pleased to say!

And good work Alex as ever! (Hmm,better try out the War and Peace avatar...

)

hmmmmmmmm...very British indeed...Bury,Lancashire,circa 1950,i think he said .
Very entertaining if yiuore a fan of W&G ,and certainly better than Chicken Run.
But i'm afraid W&G was totally eclipsed last weekend by CORPSE BRIDE.

I will go, too, with my daughter. I have not followed W&G since we left the UK. They did do 3 "short" ones, right?
Chicken Run was too long, I thought.
Corpse Bride: my daughter liked it, me not so much. Again, it is too long, the story sort of looses momentum, and I almost fell asleep.

yeah, chicken run sucked big time. the 3 short ones were great

i would move the thread to the big picture part if i could, but i can't, so if anyone can, please do. BUt if not, bah humbug.
