Bullets and flowers

Hey, I was looking on Google for what band could be these vases with flower and rifles (see the game 75 bands) and I fell accidentally on that poem.
It had quite an impression on me.
Maybe some of you might be touched as well...

Didn't read the poem...but surely that;'ll be Guns and Roses? Surely i'm not the only one old enough to remember them?
