I'm still thinking about it two weeks later, and to me that's the sign of a good film.

A really touching love story, b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l scenery (and no, I'm not just talking about Jake whatshisname). I'm still thinking about it two weeks later, and to me that's the sign of a good film. I would recommend it to anybody.

Saw it twice. The first time I couldn;t stop thinking about the desperation and the loneliness of Ennis Del Mar. But the second time, while I still cared for Ennis, it seemed more contrived and I hoped that they would stop playing that song over and over again! Michelle Williams was brilliant though, and I'm glad that they showed how the circumstances affected everybody instead of just how glorious it is to be gay and in love (which is the moral of most gay-themed movies I've seen). So to sum up, good movie, but not THAT great. I think it will be forgotten largely in the coming years...
